With the movement to climate sensitive portfolios increasing, the cost of implementing a transition to a “green” portfolio is a key consideration for both producers and consumers of passive investment products. Here, we analyze the costs of transitioning to two versions of a climate-based portfolio and compare them to the implementation costs of transitioning to a non-green portfolio.
