Andrew Borek is the Head of Special Situations Research (SSR) at ISS, which provides comprehensive, independent research on high-profile economic proposals and contests for corporate control. He is a subject matter expert in both shareholder activism and a wide range of corporate governance topics, with broad experience in contested situations and in constructive engagement with issuers, investors, and other stakeholders. As a frequent speaker, Andrew has addressed industry audiences at fora hosted by the Investment Company Institute, Bloomberg, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and others.

Andrew holds a B.A. from the University of Mary Washington, and a J.D. from William & Mary Law School.
