BENCHMARK POLICY COMMENTS
2024
To ensure its voting policies take into consideration the perspectives of the corporate governance community and the views of its institutional clients, ISS gathers broad input each year from institutional investors, issuers, and other market constituents through a variety of channels and mediums.
In November 2024, as part of its annual policy development process, ISS made available for public comment 23 proposed voting policy changes for 2025.
The policy comment period closed on December 2, 2024. In sum, ISS
received 63 comments in response, of which 51 were received with no restriction on public disclosure by the commentors.
