In January 2024, ISS ESG released the Global Edition of the 2024 Actionable Insights report, which drew on comprehensive ISS ESG data, with research and insights from ISS ESG’s financial research and sector leads, climate specialists, and regulatory experts, to help investors identify key ESG risks and investment opportunities likely to impact their portfolios in 2024.

In this Mid-Year Review report, ISS ESG revisits the 10 chapters of its Global Edition six months after publication to assess whether its Insights have been Actionable. Following the form of a “catalogue of mid-year reviews,” each chapter has been reviewed according to an identical structure: 1) Notable developments in the first half of 2024; and 2) Expected implications for investors in the second half of 2024.
