HEAD OF GOVERNANCE SOLUTIONS
Lorraine Kelly is ISS’ Head of Governance Solutions. She is responsible for overall strategy for ISS’ core proxy voting and research business lines including ISS’ Global Proxy Distribution service and Securities Class Action Services LLC, a subsidiary of Institutional Shareholder Services. She works across global teams and ISS business segments to help with the development of new products and solutions while also overseeing the delivery of client services. Lorraine is a current Committee Member for the Best Practice Principles Group (BPPG), formed in 2013 to promote greater understanding of corporate governance and ESG research and support services provided to investors and other capital markets participants. Lorraine also serves on the Council of Institutional Investors’ Markets Advisory Council, which advises board members and staff of the $3 trillion association on matters pertaining to the corporate governance and ESG industries.
Previously ISS’ Global Head of Institutional Sales, Lorraine joined the ISS sales team in 2003 to develop and implement key client sales programs that focused on global growth and client satisfaction. Her role evolved as the business grew and she maintained many direct client relationships while leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals. She served as U.S. Sales Manager in 2009 and was promoted to Global Head of Sales in 2010.
Prior to joining ISS, Lorraine spent two years as a Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Thomson Financial, managing one of their largest clients that utilized products across the buy side and sell side of their firm. She was a New York Sales Manager for three years at Primark Corporation and in direct sales at NewsEdge for two years. She started her career at Washington Service Bureau, a CCH subsidiary, as a research associate and eventually led their sales and marketing efforts.
Lorraine received a B.A. in History from the University of Mary Washington.

HEAD OF CLIMATE SOLUTIONS
Viola Lutz is Head of Climate Solutions, ISS ESG, a unit of Institutional Shareholder Services that helps financial market participants to understand, measure, and act on climate-related risks and opportunities across all asset classes.
Viola joined ISS in 2017, following its acquisition of the financial industry business of South Pole Group, where she was a member of the team that developed the world’s largest database of company-level climate change data and pioneered the development of leading, standardized investment climate screening tools. Viola initially served as Head of the ISS ESG Climate Consulting, Methodology and SPO team.
Viola was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30: European Finance list in 2020 and holds a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.

HEAD OF CLIMATE ANALYTICS
Sam Schrager is Head of US Climate Analytics at ISS ESG, where he works with investors on assessing their portfolio’s carbon footprint and climate-related risk. Prior to his current role, Sam was Director of Metrics and Data Analytics at JUST Capital, where he was responsible for ESG data analysis, metric development and methodology creation. Sam began his career as an impact investing analyst and received his Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University.
